A chemical peel is a technique which involves the application of a variety of chemical solutions to remove the skin’s damaged outer layers and awaken it to reveal visible improvements. Excellent for the active person with years of sun exposure. It’s my experience that the sun is accumulative on the skin, so even though you’ve protected your skin for the last 20 years, the sun damage from your childhood can present later in life, and your family genetics factor in as well. Their peel formulas use the science of chirality for optimum efficiency, Rhonda Allison skin peels feature only the purest, highest grade ingredients for maximum results that are naturally scientific. In short, these acids when applied to the skin will create enough stimulation to wake up the skin, causing a reaction below the surface that speeds up the cell turn over and increases the skins ability to change. This is similar to how the skin would respond to a mild surface injury.

Choosing a Peel

If you are a first time peel client we recommend the Beginner’s Peel with Consultation, followed by a gradual increase to the more Advanced Peel options. Do you still have concerns and questions and/or has it been a while since your last Facial? If so, a facial to exfoliate and extract your skin prior to your peel will enhance your peel results, go to our Facial Page for a list of options. When booking our Advanced Face & Body Peels, consider the time of year, even though the downtime may vary from customer to customer, the skin will still be injured and vulnerable while healing so we recommend choosing a time of year when you can limit your exposure to the elements. Advanced peels can be booked up to twice a year, three months apart during your preferred “off season”. To maintain your peel results throughout the year, we recommend all clients book a Facial with Gentle Custom Peels listed below, at least two to three times a year.

Custom Peel Steps

There is such a variety of options today; single acids, blended acids, different strengths and P.H.’s individually offer different results. Our peels are methodically prepared, customized and perfectly layered onto your skin, working to address your specific concerns, skin type and any current health conditions. All clients receive a double cleanse and some type of physical exfoliation or special prep prior to a peel application. We always finish with a protective layer and home care protocol to assure you are safe to go outside. Everyone leaves with notes and product if needed to prepare your skin for any downtime in the days that follow.
